Bamboo Project

POWERED BY TLC

In 2009, Bamboo Project began its' commitment to Baltimore City Public High Schools.

Since then we have mentored students from Baltimore City College, Mergenthaler Vocational, Digital Harbor, Frederick Douglass, Western, A.C.C.E. and Baltimore Polytechnic High Schools in Baltimore City.

Our relationship is maintained through our ongoing collaboration with local teachers, the Baltimore Teachers Union, Principals, and District Officers. We collaborate through individual meetings, serving on task forces, and regularly providing updates about the progress of work and the evolving needs of our youth.

We hold ourselves accountable to our youth, parents, school partners, and community.

Who We Are

The Bamboo Project is a 501c3 non-profit organization in the heart of Baltimore, Maryland.

Our effectiveness is measured by how we support other community economic development organizations and their various community revitalization strategies. The Bamboo Project acts as a catalyst that supports and enhances the economic foundation found in various communities. Our efforts are vital to all community economic development structures aimed at neighborhood and community stabilization and revitalization.

Through the structured, guided training and support that we offer, Bamboo Project is able to develop financially stronger, more sustainable business infrastructure and enterprise. These enterprises create jobs and generate income and investment within struggling communities while attracting and retaining needed community goods and services.
